LaKea Symone Jones

Lakea Symone Jones was born April 4, 1994, in Albany, Georgia. She was the daughter of Latashia Jones-Harris and Willie “Bruh” Harris, Jr.

At an early age, Lakea, affectionately known as “Symone”, joined Willis Grove Community Church in Damascus, Georgia. She attended Calhoun County High School in Edison, Georgia, graduating with the Class of 2014.

Lakea Symone Jones departed this life on Thursday, February 5, 2026, in Edison, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her mother Latashia Jones-Harris and her sister Amber Lashay Jones.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her father Willie “Bruh” Harris of Arlington, GA; two sisters, Monique Jones (Kevin) and Talexis Jones (Jantavious), both of Blakely, GA; one niece, Rhylin Jones; two nephews, Jakaiden and Chosen Jones; four aunts: Janice Early, Dracey Jackson (Darren), Sara Reed, and Maranda Reed (Ray), all of Blakely, GA; and one uncle, Reginald Jones of Orlando, FL. She also leaves behind a devoted friend, Wallace Jackson of Edison, GA; a special friend, Brittany Brown of Damascus, GA; and a host of cousins, close relatives, and friends.
