Marcus Lanier Mosely

Marcus Lanier Mosely was born October 27,1972, in Blakely, Georgia, to the late Murry Mosely, Jr. and the late Olivia Evans. From his early existence, he showed strength, love and endurance.

Marcus attended the Glynn County Public School System, graduating Brunswick High School in Brunswick, Georgia. After graduation, he joined the United States Marine Corps. Later in life, he drove a semi-trucks for ten years.

Marcus met the love of life, Sandra, in February 2001. The two were married March 31, 2012, and shared a life of devoted love, mutual respect and deep friendship.

On Sunday, February 1, 2026, Marcus departed his earthly life suddenly in Lebanon, Tennessee. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, he will be deeply missed.

Having touched the lives of many, Marcus leaves behind his devoted wife, Sandra Mosely; four sons: Marcus Mosely Jr., Blake Mosely, Michael Mosely, and Tra Duran; one daughter, Jasmine Briggs; seven grandchildren; one brother, Murry Mosely III; six sisters: Casey Walker, Trendlon Fountain, Sharlene Mosely, Jacquelyn Mosely, Carolyn Mosely, and Adrian Mosely; and a host of other relatives and friends
